The Shaka Project was first started in January 2019 after a personal experience with Mental Health and suicide attempts as stated by the owner Sean Weir who is a Personal Trainer & Gym owner in Regional Victoria, AUS & has always been passionate about igniting the conversation around Men's Mental Health.

I too have had some very dark days I never want others to go through after my near fatal accident in 2008 which resulted in a loss of my first home, my heart failed twice, I spent 9 days on life support followed by 9 months in hospital. I had to learn to walk, talk, eat, read, write and many other simple things all over again.

I have had 2 close friends lose their sons to suicide and being told news like this, the pain is unexplainable.

I am here to ignite the conversation about mental health as a proud ambassador for the Shaka Project.
